So I bought these shoes at Target yesterday. I was looking for cheap, comfortable casual shoes that would be good for walking this summer. These were on clearance and I thought they looked kinda cute.

When I put them on I immediately thought of Racer X.

Then I thought, "I'm a grown woman. I can't wear shoes that look like Racer X."

But I bought them anyway. They were only $11.48...

When Sam got home from school, I put the shoes on and asked him what they reminded him of. He said, "Racer X."

So I'm going to cut the white things off.

Confession: I've always had a crush on Racer X.

John helped me pick her out. And my economic stimulus check allowed me to buy her.
